Verified Workshop Scope
Buyers should compare a supplier by the drawing details it checks, the work evidence it can show and the scope written into the quotation. Regal Profile has operated from Darukhana since 1995.
State any material document, dimensional report or inspection requirement before quotation so it can be included or excluded clearly.
Operators and material-handling staff coordinate marking, cutting, checking and dispatch according to the accepted job scope.

Only mild steel laser cutting up to 25mm thickness and up to 3 metre length, subject to drawing and job feasibility.
DXF, DWG or PDF is checked for scale, closed profiles, holes, slots, nesting, quantity and required edge condition.
File revision, material thickness, overall dimensions, holes, slots, quantity and visible edge condition are checked.
Send DXF/DWG/PDF, MS thickness, sheet or part size, quantity, finish note and required delivery date.
Best-fit work
This process suits parts that need a clean outline, repeat sizing and clearly located holes or slots. Final acceptance follows a practical check of material, geometry and finish requirement.
Brackets, gussets, supports, covers and repeat components ready for the next fabrication stage.
Guards, mounting plates, panels and drawing-based parts with clearly marked holes and slots.
Repeat marking, drilling and site-fit templates where the outer profile must remain consistent.
Mixed parts or repeat quantities that can be reviewed together for nesting and material planning.
Gussets, cleats, mounting plates and connection parts prepared for welding or site assembly.
Drawing-based replacement covers, brackets and plates where an old part or approved revision controls the shape.
Technical capacity
These are the current operating limits shared for quotation. Small holes, tight corners and critical fitment areas still need drawing review before the job is accepted.
| Accepted material | Only MS / mild steel sheet and plate work is accepted. |
|---|---|
| Thickness range | Jobs are checked from 1mm up to 25mm. Edge requirement and shape complexity are reviewed before acceptance. |
| Plate length | Length support is available up to 3 metre, subject to the drawing and material plan. |
| File input | DXF or DWG is preferred for clean cut paths. A dimensioned PDF can also be reviewed. |
| Critical dimensions | Mark holes, slots, mating faces and tolerance-sensitive areas instead of applying a tight tolerance everywhere. |
| Next operation | Mention bending, welding, machining, grinding, painting or coating so the part can be planned correctly. |
Outstation orders
Regal Profile's workshop is in Darukhana, Mumbai; these are dispatch routes, not branch-office locations. Confirmed drawing-based batches can be packed and reviewed for transport when the order value and part dimensions make outstation supply practical.Freight and delivery timing are confirmed after drawing, weight, packing and destination PIN code are checked.

Production-ready input
Clean geometry reduces revision calls, duplicate cutting paths and quantity mistakes. These checks matter more than simply naming the file DXF or DWG.
| Units and scale | Export the cut geometry at 1:1 scale and state millimetres clearly. Do not rely on an unlabelled screenshot. |
|---|---|
| Closed cut paths | Keep each profile closed and remove duplicate or overlapping lines that could create a double cut. |
| Part identity | Use a part number, revision and quantity for every shape, especially when several drawings share one plate. |
| Holes and slots | Show final hole diameter, slot width, center distance and any feature that controls fitment. |
| Critical tolerance | Mark only fitment-sensitive dimensions. Production tolerance is confirmed from thickness, geometry and the accepted drawing rather than one blanket figure. |
| Non-cut information | Keep bend lines, center lines, notes and reference geometry visibly separate from the actual cutting path. |
Quality and scope
Material condition, feature size and the next operation affect what a usable finished part looks like. Record these points in the accepted quotation instead of assuming them later.
| Drawing revision | The accepted quotation and cutting file should carry the same part number and revision. Revised geometry must be rechecked before production. |
|---|---|
| First piece and repeat batch | For fitment-sensitive work, identify the dimensions to check on the first piece before the remaining quantity is released. |
| Plate condition | Flatness, rust, mill scale, paint or coating can affect handling and edge expectations; mention supplied-material condition early. |
| Small features | Tiny holes, narrow slots and tight inside corners are reviewed against plate thickness before the file is accepted. |
| Cut edge | Edge condition varies with thickness, geometry and surface condition. Grinding, deburring or ready-to-paint finish must be quoted separately. |
| Material responsibility | Confirm whether MS material is supplied by the buyer or included in Regal Profile's quotation. |
| Inspection | State first-piece check, critical dimensions, quantity report or identification requirements before production. |
| Packing and dispatch | Mention part marking, bundle separation, pickup contact and delivery location when mixed parts are ordered together. |
Order flow
Share DXF, DWG or a dimensioned PDF with part names and quantity.
Mention MS thickness, grade if required, plate length and whether material is supplied by you or included in the enquiry.
Cut length, holes, pierce points, nesting, edge requirement and delivery timing are checked before quotation.
After approval, pickup or dispatch is coordinated from Darukhana, Mazgaon. Most regular work is planned within 1-2 days.
Drawing RFQ
Send DXF, DWG, PDF or a clear part photo with thickness, quantity and delivery location. You can also leave your name and phone first and share the drawing with the workshop later.
Current pricing
Rate per kilogram is a starting point. Cut length, number of pierces, file condition, quantity and urgency are reviewed before the final quotation is confirmed.
| 1mm to 10mm MS | Rs. 90/kg |
|---|---|
| 12mm to 25mm MS | Rs. 84/kg |
| Minimum order value | Rs. 5,000 |
Right process
Laser is usually chosen for cleaner detail, smaller cutouts and repeat components within the stated MS range. Heavier plate or a different edge requirement may be better suited to profile cutting. The drawing decides the route, not the search term.

Buyer questions
Mild steel jobs are checked up to 25mm. Final suitability depends on the part geometry, small cutouts, edge expectation and drawing quality.
DXF or DWG is preferred because the cut path can be reviewed directly. A PDF is also accepted when dimensions, holes and slots are clearly marked.
The current indicative rate is Rs. 90 per kg for 1-10mm MS and Rs. 84 per kg for 12-25mm MS. The minimum order is Rs. 5,000. Final price follows drawing review.
Regular confirmed work is usually planned in 1-2 days. Urgent work is accepted only after checking the file, material and current workshop schedule.
No. This service is currently focused only on mild steel so buyers receive a clear material-specific quotation.
Yes. Send every part file and quantity together so plate utilization, repeat cutting and delivery can be planned as one batch.
No blanket tolerance is applied to every job. Critical dimensions are reviewed from material thickness, feature size, geometry, edge expectation and the approved drawing before acceptance.
Yes. Send 1:1 geometry with units stated, closed cut paths, no duplicate lines, and separate non-cut reference or bend information.
Mention the required edge condition before quotation. Cutting and secondary finishing are treated as separate scope items and confirmed job-wise.
State whether material will be supplied by the buyer or should be included in the quotation. Plate grade, thickness, size and surface condition are checked before acceptance.
The workshop will explain the issue and may suggest profile cutting for heavier plate or shapes where that route is more practical.
Regal Profile operates from Reti Bunder Road, Darukhana, Mazgaon, Mumbai and coordinates pickup or dispatch for nearby industrial areas.
Yes. Accepted batch jobs can be reviewed for dispatch to Pune and other Maharashtra MIDCs, Hyderabad and Telangana, and Bengaluru and Karnataka. Freight, packing and delivery time are confirmed from job weight and destination PIN code.
